ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR BACHELOR OF BUSINESS


To enrol in the Bachelor of Business, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:


  1. Applicants with ‘A’ Level Qualification
    • 160 points or more for 2 ‘A’ Levels, OR
      200 points or more for 3 ‘A’ Levels in English-medium subjects

    • Applicants with International Baccalaureate (IB) Qualification IB Diploma, OR IB Certificate; AND 24 points or more with a minimum 5 points each, in at least two relevant subjects (including Mathematics) taken at high level , or 5,5,4 for 3 relevant subjects (including Mathematics) taken at high level.

    • Applicants with Higher National Diploma (HND)/Advanced Diploma (Adv Dip) Qualification
      a. Any relevant HND or equivalent from institutions recognised by Senate.
      b. First year of Bachelor degree from institutions recognised by Senate would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
      c. Any statistics or mathematics course passed with Merit and above at HND level can be considered in lieu of the GCE ‘O’ Level Mathematics for those who have only acquired Pass (D7 or E8)

    • Mature Applicants
      At least 25 years of age on the date of admission to the degree programme; At least 1 ‘A’ Level pass or equivalent in a relevant subject; AND At least 5 years of working experience in related fields.

  2. English Language Requirement
    At least a numerical grade of six in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level or a grade ‘B’ in IGCSE English (as a Second Language) OR an IELTS score of 6.0 or better OR TOEFL (PBT) minimum overall score of 550 OR TOEFL (IBT) minimum overall score of 60 or equivalent.

  3. Mathematics Requirement
    Must obtain credit 6 or better in GCE ‘O’ Level Mathematics
