Bachelor of Accounting (Fintech) (Honours)
Programme Overview
The Bachelor of Accounting (Fintech) (Honours) prepares students for the evolving world of accounting, digital finance, and financial technology.
The programme retains ACCA-accredited core accounting modules while integrating digital finance, data analytics, and fintech applications. Students develop strong governance knowledge, analytical capabilities, and technological competencies required in modern accounting and financial environments.
Graduates are well-positioned for both professional certification pathways and industry-ready roles.
For students who are interested to pursue a career as a qualified Chartered Accountant through the ACCA (Association for Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, graduating from the Accounting & Finance major programme may grant students exemptions of up to nine papers of the ACCA examination.

Study Format and Structure
Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)
Qualification: Honours Degree
The programme combines professional accounting standards with digital and analytical capabilities, ensuring both technical depth and fintech readiness.
It maintains strong alignment with professional bodies such as ACCA while supporting pathways toward other certifications (e.g., CGMA, CISA, CFE).

All modules offered under the Bachelor of Accounting (Fintech) programme can be taken as Elective modules. As Elective modules, they are open to students from all undergraduate programmes, subject to the prerequisites and/or anti-requisites stated in the module outlines.
Students outside the Bachelor of Accounting (FinTech) programme may opt to take the following Structured Electives to minor in either FinTech or Accounting & Finance:
