Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (Venture Development) (Honours) is designed for students who want to turn ideas into scalable ventures.

This venture-creation focused programme integrates applied learning, digital tools, and sustainability-driven innovation. Students develop entrepreneurial mindset, market validation skills, and venture-building capabilities aligned with global best-practice frameworks.

Study Format and Structure

Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)
Qualification: Honours Degree

The programme combines foundational business knowledge with hands-on venture development. Students engage in applied projects, prototype testing, and real-world business validation.

Venture Development is offered as an advanced specialisation within the programme.


Admission Requirements

English Language (one of the following)
  • Grade 6 in GCE β€˜O’ Level English; OR
  • Grade B in IGCSE English (Second Language); OR
  • IELTS 6.0; OR
  • TOEFL (PBT 550 / IBT 60); OR
  • Band B2 in UBD English Proficiency Test; OR
  • Equivalent qualification.
Mathematics
  • Credit 6 in GCE β€˜O’ Level Mathematics; OR
  • Grade B in IGCSE Mathematics; OR
  • Equivalent qualification.
A Levels
Applicants must meet the required tariff points in relevant English-medium subjects:
  • 64 points out of 160 points (pre-2017 UCAS tariff) or above for 2 A Levels; OR
  • 80 points out of 200 points (pre-2017 UCAS tariff) or above for 3 A Levels.
Relevant subjects may include Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent.

Other Academic Pathways
  • International Baccalaureate (minimum 24 points with relevant Higher Level subjects)
  • Relevant HND or equivalent qualification
  • Mature entry (minimum 5 years of relevant work experience)
  • Other recognised qualifications (case-by-case consideration)
